From feature films to corporate videos, 30 second spots to multi-season shows, Greg Deist has been in the broadcast and film world for close to 20 years.
As one of Faction's finishing editors, Greg takes care of the little details. From fixing any visual or technical issues, adding video effects, and packaging everyone’s hard work together, Greg is responsible for getting the project over the finish line.
Greg’s goal is for the viewer to see what you want them to see, and nothing else. His dedication to making blurs as unnoticeable as possible has led to the rest of the team calling him a blur ninja. It’s still to be determined if they are genuinely impressed or just humoring him.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys reading comic books, playing disc golf, and annoying his family on road trips by shouting out logos that should be blurred.
