Colorist
Ted Snavely
Ted Snavely has over 30 years of experience as a professional colorist. Over the course of his career he has worked for three prominent post houses and collaborated on award-winning documentaries, television series, and branded content for Disney+, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and more.
Ted is an efficient colorist, working primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio throughout his career. He’s traversed the varied landscape of color correction over the years from film to tape, tape to tape and completely file based workflows. He enjoys collaborating with producers, directors, and cinematographers to make beautiful images on screens of all sizes.
His work includes the recent Emmy-award winning docuseries, Secrets of the Whales, ten seasons of the highest-rated series on Nat Geo Wild The Incredible Dr. Pol, and Space Disasters on the Smithsonian Channel.
When not coloring, he spends his time at home quietly with his family in black & white.
